Trip Interruption
What happens when your trip gets cut short?
Unexpected events don´t always happen before you leave, sometimes they strike after you´ve already departed. Whether it´s a family emergency back home, a sudden illness abroad, severe weather on the route, or another situation forcing you to return early, you shouldn´t have to bear the financial burden.
We help you recover costs for:
- Unused hotel or resort stays
- Early return flight costs
- Pre-paid tours, trains, or activities you missed
- Additional transportation or accommodation you incur during the interruption.
Dealing with a crisis abroad is stressful enough. Let us manage the paperwork, calls and documentation so you can focus on your wellbeing.
File your claim with confidence. Travel with peace.
The process
Before starting a claim, make sure you are aware of our process
Go ahead and create your account to get started. Once you’re registered, you’ll have full access to your personal dashboard where you can track your claim’s progress, securely submit any required documents, and stay updated every step of the way, all in one convenient place.
Once you’re registered, simply visit your account dashboard and select the “Tell Us What Happened” option to share the full details of your situation. Providing as much information as possible helps us understand how best to assist you and evaluate your options. If you’d like personalized guidance, you can also request a complimentary one-on-one advisory session through the “Request Free Advisory” feature, available whenever you need it, as often as you need.
Once you’ve received confirmation and the green light from one of our agents to move forward with your claim, simply select your claim type and proceed to checkout to pay the initial fee. After your payment is processed, you’ll receive a claim confirmation email, and your claim will appear in your account dashboard for easy tracking.
Now that you’ve paid the initial fee, you can begin submitting all required documentation and information directly through your account dashboard. If it’s more convenient, you’re also welcome to send documents via email. Should you need any assistance during this process, please don’t hesitate to reach out, we’re here to help.
We will do our hardest work to secure your reimbursement as quickly as possible. Once you receive it, we will leave our confidence 100% in your hands to honor the complete Service Fee. We trust you as you have trusted us throughout the entire process.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. In documented emergency interruptions, the added cost of unexpected one-way return airfare (or the fare adjustment charged by the airline to change your ticket) is typically recoverable. Keep your new booking receipt, boarding pass, and original itinerary; our specialists use them to build your direct reimbursement demand.
You shouldn’t have to forfeit money for lodging or excursions you physically could not use due to an emergency. We dispute rigid “no-refund” vendor terms directly with foreign hotel chains, resort groups, and tour operators to recover your unused deposits.
Yes. If medical issues required you to end your trip, a brief evaluation report from a local clinic abroad, an emergency room intake form, or an official physician’s travel restriction note provides essential evidence. We verify that your paperwork meets carrier and underwriter dispute standards before we file.
When severe airline delays or cascading cancellations make it impossible to reach your destination in time., we hold the carrier accountable for both your wasted expenses and the return transport required to get you back home.
Most carriers, cruise lines, and underwriters enforce notification windows ranging from 20 to 90 days from the date of the incident. Submitting your details immediately preserves essential paperwork, keeps digital records accessible, and prevents providers from dismissing your case on technical deadlines.
