ou are entitled to reasonable living expenses caused directly by the hold-up. This includes meals, non-alcoholic drinks, airport shuttle or taxi fares, unexpected hotel accommodation during overnight delays, and essential toiletries if you had no access to your checked luggage. Luxury splurges are excluded, but necessary comfort and sustenance must be reimbursed.
Airlines routinely classify operational failures as “weather” or “air traffic control issues” to avoid paying claims. Even when genuine weather disrupts traffic, carriers are still legally obligated to cover your basic duty of care (food and lodging). Furthermore, we pull live radar, airport operations data, and flight logs to verify whether other carriers were flying while yours remained grounded—exposing automated airline excuses.
Yes. Itemized receipts (whether paper slips or digital invoices sent to your phone) are non-negotiable proof. Bank statements alone often lack the item breakdown that airlines and underwriters demand. Take a quick photo of every receipt as soon as you get it; you can upload those pictures straight to our portal.
Absolutely. If an initial flight delay caused you to miss a connecting flight, international rail transit (such as Eurostar), or cruise departure, we pursue the responsible carrier for the cascading disruption, rebooking penalties, and emergency overnight lodging.
